The Bagel Shop has added an East Indian section to their already existing menu. In addition to Bagels, sandwiches, burgers and salads, The Bagel Shop now offers East Indian specialities like Mutton Khuddi, Fugias, Wedding Rice and Pickled Chicken which are not dishes that are commonly available in Mumbai.
The East Indian menu, available daily for dinner, is named Queimada – after a Portuguese country liquor which East Indians make at home it's spiced and drunk around festive occasions when traditional cuisine is eaten.

We went recently to try out the new menu for dinner as East Indian cuisine typically only found at East Indian homes - this maybe the 1st time such a selection is available in a restaurant!

We had the spare ribs, the beef olives, the sorpotel, the ribs and chittiap - a coconutty roti ideal with Sorpotel.

There are enough options in vegetarian and chicken.

All delicious, we had no tummy space to try the any dessert either from the original or East Indian Queimada menu!

Highly recommended – we’ve been twice in the month since they’ve launched it and are already planning our 3rd visit.
