Visit Gaylord, Churchgate for really good food

When I got to know about the seafood festival at this iconic South Mumbai restaurant, we decided to go.

When we entered the restaurant was nearly full with diners and there was a happy buzz.

We ordered our drinks and started off with “pahadi kababs” a chicken kabab (boneless) in  green masala. It was delicious.

We (2 of us) then shared the butter garlic lobster and the (green masala) stuffed crab. Both were delicious

We shared a desert – vanilla icecream with chocolate sauce

All in all – a great experience – good food and superlative service  - Anthony Pereira, Restaurant Manager ensured that all diners were well taken care of

Most of the diners were eating Indian but several people were eating continental

It was good to see diners enjoy the varieties of coffee from the very modern coffee maker and the wide range of cocktails and mocktails.

We’ve decided that Gaylord is a must visit for good food – even when this Seafood festival end (Dec 3, 2015)

Try and catch the festival if you can but visit Gaylord anyway – you will love it
