| Chicken a la Kiev |
We went
there recently after years, I do not know why. The place, service and food are
excellent as always! I’m definitely returning soon.
The
occasion was a birthday so this was an apt place to celebrate.
We had lunch
- as we love Gallops in the daytime,
it’s great to enjoy the expansive green racecourse views!
Here’s
what we ate:
Appetisers:
Hummus
with pita
Mutton
galauti kabab (totally amazing, melt in the mouth)
Bacon
wrapped prawns (great)
Prawn
cocktail (1 portion consists of 6 large
prawns served individually in 6 shot glasses)
Mains:
Chicken a
la Kiev (one of the few places serving this, a family favourite)
Chicken
Mexicaine
Chicken
Stroganoff
Fettucini
Genovese (vegetarian – pesto sauce with colourful veggies)
Ham and
bacon lasagne (for a porkaholic- this is too amazing)
Ham steak
Hawaian
Dessert:
Tiramisu
Every single
dish was well prepared and delicious.paucity of pics as we just ate up everything ...
I recommend
all of you visit soon, this is a place with great food – whether Indian or
Western. Big helpings and great service in a fabulous ambiance
Can’t wait
to go back and take my son, I know he will love it
