Global Fusion is my ten year old son V’s most favourite Chinese restaurant in Mumbai. He loves being able to eat a variety of Sushi, steamed dim sum, fried dim sum and the fairly large buffet. V enjoys ordering at the live stations using the clips carrying our table number and waiting in anticipation. It’s predictable but good.
Seafood lovers can rejoice – lots of shrimp, of a decent size across appetiser and buffet, and crab always on offer too.
The tiny tasting size desserts, the choice of Baskin Robbins ice cream and the complimentary soda adds to the meal.
The high ceilinged space – such a luxury in Mumbai, the Chinese style ambiance and the fish and turtles swimming in the water bodies adds to the meal.
Avoid Sunday lunches and Chinese New Year meals – the place is too crowded and the decibel level is too high for enjoyment.
