Went here for the 1st time with some trepidation as we've been to Club Mahindra Varca Beach twice before and we weren't sure if this was equally good or not.
I'm happy to say we had a glorious time here doing what one does in Goa- eat, relax, swim... This is a great resort.
The 1 bedroom unit with 2 full bathrooms was wonderful.
Having 2 tvs was helpful as we spent the hot afternoons indoors.
The bedroom door opened onto a lush green garden where the tinkling sounds of the fountain was music to our ears!
The pool, the fun zone and free wifi in the lobby kept the boy occupied.
The Walls Icecream cart was patronised by us every day.
There is only one restaurant which has buffet but where you can order a la ca We ate breakfast here daily and it satisfied fussy me. Lunched here occasionally and it passed muster.
The fancier dinner with live counters somehow didn't appeal to my very fussy palate.
However, the service in this bustling restaurant was very good. Hats off to the boys working there. Cheerful they really provided good service - they even noticed my empty plate at the one dinner we ate in house (we were out all other days for dinner, and had many of our lunches out too) and offered to get me anything off the ala carte menu ...
The buffet breakfast was rather good - all manner of Indian and western food including pancakes and on the Sunday waffles along with eggs and/or dosas made to order.
Room service was good we even tried their Goan food the 1st day - which was good - and also ordered tea time snacks daily.
The downside is no separate a la carte restaurant and the resort isn't on the beach. It's about 20 minutes walk away. Compared to the Varca Beach property this is smaller - i preferred it - as its less crowded and appears more green,
There is an active kids /fun zone but has no zip line. We loved the place,
I'd return here ... Keep in mind that we are Club Mahindra members however if its available and i wanted good without spending a bomb - i'd still pay and stay here
