Sylvan Heaven Next Door to Busy Mumbai

The restaurant

We went there for a new year break with friends and our 12 year old son. We went with no expectations and have returned fans of the quaint verdant resort located on the beach north of the city.

Most important  the rooms we had – 5, 5A and  4A were spacious and sea facing which made it a real treat.
We spent a lot of our time on our sit-outs  - we had 3 rooms /cottages in a row which made it convenient – morning tea and evening tea were enjoyed there.

Our rooms

There was an all inclusive meal package for the New year – post which there were veg and non veg meal meal options as well as a la carte.
The food was plentiful, tasty and wholesome -  all of us enjoyed it. Non vegetarian options included fish and chicken. The tindli pickle was a highlight!
The rooms were spacious, clean and the linen/towels were good. The resort is managed superbly by Bhavna, an all rounder.
Manoribel is great for a relaxed break – we are all waiting to book our next trip there to chill out by the sea.
