Sassy Spoon Bandra - a new favourite

Flatbread

I’ve been here 4 times in the 2.5 months since it opened. It grows on you … Good food and great personalised service make it a refreshing addition to the ‘hoods burgeoning dining scene which already has so many great places to eat in
It has a celebratory feel to it – from the launch week when I visited for dinner to my last visit this week for afternoon tea

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE
The service is beyond exceptional – once when one of the mains was delayed we received complimentary dessert! Another time when a friend announced she was freezing the wait staff brought her a shawl! How cool is that?

I’m listing the various things we’ve tried so it can help you decide what you’d like to order:

LOVED it:
The flatbread with greens and cheese (incomparable) so good that even though its veg I love it! (ive eaten it every time i've visited)

The Cajun prawns served in a skillet

A variety of vegetarian salads – all good including the 3 mushroom salad

The salad with ham (eat as a mains, its filling with fresh greens, parma ham and a light dressing)

Chorizo pao

The cocktail – Spiked Very Berry Khatta – a refreshing new taste

DON’T order:
The roast chicken – tasteless!
Meringue – not on par with Le 15 Patisserie or Yuatcha

DO TRY THE AFTERNOON TEA
Their scones – 3 delicious scones served warm with clotted cream and strawberry preserve – and your choice of tea or coffee – just right for a late afternoon pick me up

THINK TWICE
The Roast Lamb is great for those who like lots of lamb, a delicately flavoured  well cooked roast lamb and great quantity. Only order if you are a roast lamb fan

Sassy Spoon doesn’t take reservations so do get there early if you want to be assured of a table

I’m waiting to go back J
