Ever since I’ve returned from my
visit to this beautiful city, every other person I meet say’s, “I’m also planning
a visit there …” hence this blog post. So you don’t have to look further, just book this hotel for a luxury stay, awesome breakfast, good service and LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
This hotel is ideally located
to see Prague on foot! We stayed here on our 1st ever visit to Prague. BTW,
this trip was with a school friend!
We found the hotel on Tripadvisor as
we wanted to stay near the Old Town Square (Stare Mesto). The hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing
in Prague. You can walk everywhere relevant from the tourist POV: The Astrological
Clock, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Opera, the Jewish Quarter etc. There
is an open air market just up the street to get food, home brewed wines, beer,
sausages and buy great handicrafts. Also a mall and the metro station.
Our room was very comfortable – we stayed in the Deluxe Double/Twin room (not the smallest double room) – we spent 4 nights here and I would certainly return. Every evening, the turndown service included chocolate and the next day’s weather forecast.

We booked room and breakfast which was
delicious, served in the Franz Josef
Restaurant with a variety of breads, cheeses,
meats, fruits, cereals, juices, and more at the buffet including egg,
mushrooms, sausage, bacon and the additional a la carte selection of hot
dishes. Wine was on offer too!
We enjoyed a drink in the bar which
was quite lively in the evenings.
The front desk staff was very helpful recommending restaurants, making bookings
for tours, jazz clubs and more. Showing us routes/directions on the map.
Strongly recommended for a visit to Prague. I’m hoping to return with the husband before too long
Stay tuned for my blog of what we did
in Prague.
