We had a breakfast meeting there this AM. I’ve been to Café Zoe
many times before for lunch, drinks and dinner. We were meeting a client in the
vicinity and as the client always stays at the ITC grand Central, we felt we
should meet somewhere else….
Café Zoe certainly provided a good start to the day.
The restaurant had a buzz – with more than 6 tables occupied
when we entered.
We had coffee, a skinny omelette wrap and a poached egg with
whipped yoghurt (known in many places as Turkish poached egg).
The extensive breakfast menu abounded with many options -
healthy ones like Muesli, fruit, etc and lots of my favourites like smoked
salmon and bacon.
Skinny Omelette Wrap |
The skinny omelette wrap was a wrap made out of a thin
omelette with a filling of iceberg lettuce, pine nuts and feta cheese. Two wraps on the plate, rather good….
Filling too
The poached eggs (2 eggs) came smothered with whipped yoghurt (I didn’t taste it) was
delicious.
Coffee was good too – Americano and Capuccino.
The bill was approx. Rs 450 per head.
Strongly recommended if you are in the ‘hood
Its airconditioned, no valet parking in the morning and easy
access for handicapped (ground level)
